The section discusses building and maintaining your referral list, which is the list of current referral candidates from your customer database.
To build the referral list, the system creates and later updates, a list of referral candidates, which consists of the active REFERRAL subscription records that matched the Provider List User Search Filter (or the iMIS default).
To build a referral List
1. Add the REFERRAL subscription to all provider candidates and invoice them. If you use the default search filter, iMIS verifies that the Paid_Thru date is greater than the current date. In this case, the customer must pay the REFERRAL product before they will processed when you rebuild search indexes.
2. Make sure all provider candidates have records in all Customer tables referenced in the Optional Search Fields area of the Set up module window.
3. From Referrals, select Rebuild search indexes. The system prompts you to confirm your choice before running the procedure, which can be lengthy.
4. Click Yes. As iMIS builds the list, it pulls the data maintained in the search fields you specified.
